I AM THE WAY

WHAT is the way?

Of course, the truth! For the way has to lead in the right direction to the right destination.

The lie can never do that. It cheats you. It misleads you. It fools you. It deceives you. By following the lie, you can never arrive at the expected destination.

Thus the lie is not the way, but rather it is the false way... Thus it is not the way at a lot. By following the lie, you miss the way, and you miss the destination.

Therefore Jesus told his disciples, "I am the way, the truth and the life."

The way is the truth and the truth alone. And the truth is the way, and that is the only way!

Why? By following the truth, you strike the right mark; you arrive at the right destination; you reach the expected place; you get the right thing.

So, Jesus is the way by which anyone can attain the right thing; that which is truly needed. He is the way because he is the truth. Yes, the truth about anything is Jesus Christ.

Do you want to know the truth about anything? The truth about life? The truth about existence? The truth about creation? The truth about this world? The truth about God? The truth about the origin? The truth about the beginning? The truth about salvation? The truth about happiness? The truth about joy? The truth about riches? The truth about a home? A dwelling place? A refuge? An inheritance? Heaven? Earth? Hell? Judgement? Life beyond the grave? It is all found in Jesus Christ! He is the truth, therefore he is the way thereof to anything.

And finally, he is the life. What meanth this? If he is the way, then he is the truth, because only the truth makes a way to reach the desired end. And if he is the truth, then he is the life, for what is true is the same that is life. If it is not of life then it is a lie!

Life is pure; life is holy; life is chaste; life is just; life is righteous; life is upright; life is meek; life is lowly; life is humble; life is gentle; life is patient; life is long-suffering; life is forbearing; life is forgiving. Life is merciful, gracious, kind, loving, joyful, peaceful, faithful, trustworthy; life is edifying, restful, quickening, upholding, strengthening, awakening.

Yes, in a word, life is fruitful. That means full of fruits named and unnamed. Life is all that. And the opposite of fruitfulness is death. The opposite of fruitfulness is the bearing of thorns, and that is what death is. It is that which bears thorns in place of fruits.

Like what? Like hatred, bitterness, murder, pride, high-minded, selfish, filthy, corrupt, unrighteousness, injustice, and every other evil thing.

Therefore, the way is the truth, and the truth is the life. By embracing the truth you achieve fruitfulness... You attain life by which you attain fruitfulness, and therefore you inherit that which is fruitful.

Yes, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life for you! Life is the truth and the truth is the way! Embrace it now!

Yes, the right destination to which the truth leads is into life. The truth leads into life and only that. Anything that does not lead into life is not the truth. It has to be a lie.

The lie leads into death, as the truth leads into life. Therefore, the truth is the way into life. And that is what Jesus Christ is!
