NEW THINGS I DECLARE

Brother Joshua

13 Aug 2026

The Gospel Message is always News

Isaiah 42:9 KJV

Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

To fulfill its divine assignment in any generation, the Gospel cannot be confined to historical memory or stagnant tradition—it must remain genuinely "News." News is live, active, and unfolding: it’s never repetitious.

When the Spirit of God moves upon the earth, He does not merely repeat past history; He speaks, reveals and fulfills present prophecy. And not only that, but sets forward new prophecy of things to come.

Isaiah 45:11 KJV

Thus saith the LORD, the Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands command ye me.

As the Holy Spirit reveals to us the Prophetic Word spoken by God through the prophets of the past concerning our times, and shows us its fulfillment, he also speaks through us a prophetic message concerning the future. We leave behind us footprints, true prophetic footprints spoken and acted by the Holy Spirit through us: a spiritual storehouse for future references.

John 16:13 KJV

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

The word Gospel means Good News. In every season, God has something new to declare. Apart from all he has spoken and done in the past, God continues to reveal, speak and fulfill new things.

As any man thinks new things every day; new strategies, new plans and arises daily to act and fulfill them, so does God much more do so.

God has a mind, and has thoughts about us today! The past is only a reference point; a reference to ensure you move in line with God's Word. But God, who is infinity, has still new things to declare to us today. Glad tidings cannot be the exposition of the past, but it is the declaration of what God has in store for our age! It is the good things He kept for us.

What He revealed in the past was an inheritance for the saints of those generations. The Gospel News today reveals that which has never been allotted to others.

For the Gospel presents to us the kingdom of God, not in word only, but in substance too. And it particularly reveals to you the portion allotted for you... As you receive the news, as it was to Abraham, your inheritance is in it!

Ephesians 6:19 KJV

And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel...

The Gospel is not just plain teachings from known facts from scriptures, but it is a mystery. What was unfolded in past belonged to those ages, but our portion remains seals till our time comes in; yes, till we come in!

Daniel 12:4,8-9 KJV

But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. [8] And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? [9] And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

How true this is! God has a portion for the Gospel mystery for every generation! He has a message, a portion for you today which He never showed to the saints of any past generations. Why? That is the portion allotted for you! That is your portion in the kingdom of heaven! It could not be given to Daniel or any other prophet, no matter how great they were! God is not the author of confusion. He could not show other people what belongs to you! God only reveals to you what is yours and that is the Gospel News for you!

Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV

The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

What belongs to you today has been kept secret for all past ages! The preaching of the mystery of the kingdom of God, is in essence the distribution of the lots of inheritance to the heirs. And this comes down to an individual. You only correctly and clearly fathoms what is allotted for you in that kingdom! You cannot and can never clearly fathom what belongs to another! Though the kingdom is preached as though generally, but people receive it in particular! There is a parcel, a portion that belongs to you in the whole package! In fact it has your name on it! Once you hear that, you can't help but respond. Hallelujah! The Gospel News declares to you particularly what is yours! What is that? Your inheritance eternal! Praise the Lord! God new you from eternity, and allocated a portion to your name! That is the glad tidings for you! Oh, how beautiful are the feet of the messenger that packs such news for you!

Revelation 2:17 KJV

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

The Gospel News to you points to you what awaits you in that white stone! Your name in the substance of your inheritance. "Their rock is not like our Rock!"

Psalm 16:5-6 KJV

The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

As Luther's age inherited a portion of the kingdom with a banner of "the just shall live by faith," so the age of Wesley inherited the portion with the banner of "sanctification by the blood of Jesus Christ." And the Pentecostal revivals age inherited a portion with the banner of "the Restoration of Gifts."

See? Every age has a special Gospel message, a portion of inheritance for them!

Amos 3:7 KJV

Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Yes, the Gospel News is the progressive revelation of God's work and purpose that continually brings in His glorious kingdom to establish it in the hearts of men to perfection.

He says, "Old things have come to pass, and new things I declare... Before they come to pass, I tell you of them..."

To declare is to preach, to proclaim... And the new things are the Gospel Message. Yes, God has new things to declare still. He is I am. He has His mind for humanity today. He does not point you to the dead past, but to the living present revelation of the mystery of His kingdom.
