God appeared to the fathers in Genesis in the name of God Almighty... He revealed Himself to these men, and they walked with Him. To Enoch, Noah, Job, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph, God was not a mere religious story, but He was a present reality. Hallelujah! That is the God I want to worship! Not some legendary religious story...a once-upon-a-time thing.

That is the God I worship, the God I preach, the God I testify about, who meets with His people today. A God who laterally meets with me and talks with me. The living God is with His people today as He was with others in the past. Yes, God appears to people laterally to deliver them from their enemies.
